English Airdate[edit]
I'm gonna stop being bold and stupid. But there's quite a few editors who argue that a full episode going online on some 'official' website counts as an 'airing' and that the 'Airdate' that is claimed on such websites can be cited as a reliable source. Their views on Talk:List_of_InuYasha_episodes#English_airdate_for_the_second_series and Talk:List_of_Fullmetal_Alchemist:_Brotherhood_episodes#English Airdates. This, apart from the sub vs. dub debate. More input on this would be appreciated. -Kagome1977 (talk) 03:26, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- If you can find correct dates for the english streaming, then i've no objections. The objection I had was that the dates you added were the same as the japanese dates, despite these being episodes that did not air simultaneously. Unfortunately The airdates given on Hulu are the airdates in japan. On FMA and InuYasha this isn't a problem as both started simultaneously in Japan and online in english, whereas Shippuden was Japan only for 2 years and the english streams were filled in at 4 a week iirc once the simultaneous stream started. This is why it doesn't work on this list as easily as it sounds. Dandy Sephy (talk) 04:14, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- Makes sense. Hulu itself states that the subbed episode goes online 7 days after the Japan airing yet states the Japan airdate as 'Air date' (if you hover over each episode) - implying that it is not a reliable source for when each episode went online. You can confirm this by checking the date of the most recent episode. As for the correct dates I couldn't find them but there really isn't much of a point because it wasn't strictly Japan only at any point of time. Some TV channels did broadcast Shippuden episodes with subtitles even before crunchyroll or hulu started. Not sure which ones cause I only watched them ripped and posted on the internet. -Kagome1977 (talk) 05:17, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- I would recommend not using streaming dates as airdates. Airdates implies that the episode was broadcast on a network or cable station that one can pick up on a regular TV. Hulu is neither of those. In fact, I wouldn't equate streaming date as an airdate. If a series was streamed earlier but aired on a network later, I would go with the actual airdate of the network and not the streaming date. And finally, a consensus formed on one article's talk page doesn't affect other articles. If you want to create a standard, then you need to go to a central forum, such as WP:VPM, WT:ANIME or WT:TV were there are more eyes and participants. —Farix (t | c) 11:10, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed; I don't see a reason streaming and/or subtitled dates listed here since or on any other article. It goes against most of the precedents I've seen. Geg (talk) 16:57, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- Subtitles aren't the problem. It's whether an internet stream counts as the first airdate. If the episode was broadcast with English subtitles on an English language network, than it would still count as the first first English airdate. —Farix (t | c) 20:06, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Episodes[edit]
Naruto Shippuden Episode 1
This says season 1 has 52 episodes.— Bradford💬 00:41, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits; his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in the world. The series would also spawn multiple anime series, movies, novels, video games and more.
Having concluded the series in late 2014, Masashi Kishimoto kept himself busy penning continuing adventures in the Naruto world, including the manga Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring and the story for Boruto: Naruto the Movie, both of which focus on the title character’s son, Boruto.
